At Rio Lounge, we have the privilege of seeing our fabulous white outdoor furniture hire range at some of the most significant events in the UK sporting calendar.

A Football Competition with Prestige and History….

With a history dating back almost 150 years, the FA Cup is probably the most famous and prestigious cup competition in English football. Fans love the anticipation and excitement of this competition as simply anything can happen! The semi-finals took place at the famous Wembley Stadium last weekend. Brighton and Hove Albion played Manchester City on Saturday 6 April in the first match of semi-final weekend. We had the pleasure of helping transform Brighton’s VIP hospitality area at Box Park, Wembley, with some funky furniture hire.

Perfect timing…..

A football tournament as important as this needs to run like clockwork. Timings cannot slip, therefore meticulous planning is key! Our crew were required to work to a very strict timetable. Following a 5am start at our warehouse, the crew had to ensure everything was perfectly installed at Box Park by 9am. Our client selected from our white outdoor furniture hire collection a total of 74 sofa modules, so there was a lot of work to do! Jobs of this scale require a close liaison with our client to fully understand the layout of the venue beforehand. Our crew were briefed in detail then we conducted virtual ‘walkthroughs’ to ensure that everything ran smoothly.

Funky furniture hire fit for football VIPs….

Our white faux leather modular Ana Mandara sofas were the ideal choice to create a stylish and chilled club lounge. Together with our Hi-Ball Poseur Tables, their clean white cubic lines looked perfect for the occasion. The event planners, Studio Play pulled together the whole look with some really cool accessories in BHA team colours. Additionally, we placed our classic white rattan Marrakesh sofa sets in a separate area to create relaxed yet glamorous club style.

Whereas some of our clients hire furniture for several days in a row, this one was different. Our crew de-rigged and removed everything by 9am the following morning, ready for the next semi-final match!
