Rio Lounge At Star Studded OJAM Fundraiser
Although the sun has not always been shining this June the summer has got off to a sizzling start for Rio Lounge as we have been working with Drive Productions to help create a Miami Beach theme for a star studded charity event hosted by the OJAM JLS Foundation!
The OJAM JLS Foundation wanted to organise a stunning fundraiser for Cancer Research UK and as this was a summer event the production company came up with the idea of creating a Miami Beach club scene. The idea was to give the event an exclusive and glamorous club feel with guests mingling against a background of palm trees and waterfalls.
Of course Rio Lounge are renowned for their fabulous club lounge furniture and were the perfect choice for this event. Our fantastic furniture can bring luxe style to any occasion and the Miami Bling feel of the evening meant that Rio Lounge were the ideal fit. Our large lanterns and mirror cube tables helped to set the glamorous scene with our scatter cushions adding an extra element of luxurious comfort.
Guests began their evening by sipping cocktails whilst relaxing on our sumptuous and ever popular Marrakesh Club Set sofas, and then had dinner in the stylish white, gold and blue dining room. This amazing night continued with a laser show and diners were treated to projections of palm trees swaying in the breeze and Miami graffiti art which all added to the atmosphere.
There were performances from Misha B, Flawless and Gary Barlow performed a never seen before duet with JLS. The party continued with JLS’s Marvin on the decks and the evening finished off with stunning fireworks.
It was great fun working on this event with our charity event furniture hire range and we were thrilled to be working with Drive Productions. And as we knew that it was all for a great cause and that budgets were tight we were happy to provide some of our furniture for free too. What a fabulous evening – we were so glad to be a part of it and we were pleased to learn that OJAM raised £1million for Cancer Research!
