This time last year…..

This time last year, the world was a very different place.  Blissfully ignorant of what was just round the corner, we were celebrating Rio Lounge’s busiest year ever. 

Sadly, the euphoria was short-lived as the world succumbed to the Covid pandemic. The events industry was hit hardest of all, with all but the smallest gatherings cancelled.  We were originally hopeful of a busy autumn and winter but sadly as the virus took hold, this was not to be.

However, as the saying goes: ‘The darkest hour is just before the dawn’. With vaccines gradually  being rolled out, things are looking good for Spring 2021.  We are quietly confident that the events industry will be back in full force next year.
