When it comes to high end classic sports cars, our neighbours just down the road, Bell Sport and Classic, certainly know a thing or two! Recently, Bell have hosted two F1 viewing events at their premises. They’ve also exhibited at the largest classic car show in Europe, Harpenden’s ‘Classics on the Common’.  Of course, our luxury furniture hire was just the ticket to seat their guests!

About Bell Sport and Classic

Co-founder Mr Bell (who incidentally invented the Bell Fuel Can!), had a great passion for cars. As a result, he and another investor were inspired to establish Bell Sport and Classic in 1989. Being owners of classic Ferraris and Aston Martins, the founders originally set up the company to specialise in the restoration and service of these classic sports cars. Following a recent growth phase, Bell has now extended into sales and maintenance of modern classics and ‘supercars’ too. Originally based in Harpenden, the company moved premises in 2017 to its current location in Markyate.

As you can imagine, it takes a great deal of specialist skill to service and restore classic cars. With modern technology having superseded many of the classic components and systems, it’s a rare skillset to find. Passionate about their work, the technicians often establish a close and fond relationship with the cars they service.  

Event furniture rental – Grand Prix Viewing Event – (Silverstone)

Inviting members of the Ferrari Owners Club amongst others, the company gathered like-minded motor racing fans together in July to watch the British Grand Prix.  A family-friendly event, our client chose our elegant white Club sofas in the indoor area to seat guests in comfort.  Matching cube-shaped Cabo tables made the ideal place to pop down drinks and snacks. As a barbecue and refreshments were also being served, our practical  Kubo tables and stools were perfect in the viewing room for casual dining. Guests could still enjoy the food whilst not missing a second of the race! Those who preferred to stand/mingle loved our gorgeous Daiquiri poseur tables .

Furthermore, a similar viewing event was held at Bell’s premises for the Belgian Grand Prix in early September.
