The next stage in the phased easing of Covid lockdown measures will be the re-opening of ‘non-essential’ shops on 15 June 2020. Although permitted to open their doors on this date, such operations will need to ensure they are Covid-safe; enforcing effective social distancing measures. Over the years, we at Rio Lounge have supplied our event furniture hire to a number of retail events. Event furniture hire for a fragrant product launch

As a luxury, high-end British perfume brand, Miller Harris creates unusual and beautiful fragrances. As well as personal fragrances for men and women, there’s also an extensive bath and body range, as well as home scents and candles. Hiring our furniture some years ago for a new product launch; our client selected our cool Casa Tub Chairs, Club Lounge Sofas and our glass-topped Daiquiri Poseur Tables.

So, with current precautions in mind, the tub chairs do work well when you have an event where social distancing needs to be enforced; as they seat only one person per chair, they can be placed as far apart as you like. Poseur tables can be placed around your venue, with or without bar stools, perfect for a drinks event when you  need to work the room.

VIP lounge at Beacon Shopping Centre – Eastbourne

Located in Eastbourne, a traditional British seaside resort, the Beacon Shopping Centre boasts a whole host of high street favourites, as well as a range of food outlets. The brief here was to create a beach bar type area in the middle of the shopping centre! Complete with straw parasols and exotic plants, the client chose items from our funky faux leather furniture hire range; thus creating an exclusive VIP area for competition winners. Pictured here you can see our cube-shaped coloured club ottomans in rich royal blue. These handy cube seats are lightweight yet sturdy; stylish yet practical. Snows BMW – furniture hire for launch of two luxury cars

Good news if you’re looking to change your car: car showrooms will be permitted to re-open even sooner: on 1 June.

At this event back in 2018, we transformed a car showroom in Portsmouth into a luxury event venue with some stylish hire furniture. With two exciting new BMW models being unveiled, VIP guests loved the chic white rattan sofas and co-ordinating low tables for relaxing with a glass of champagne. The addition of some sparkling light up letters created a real WOW factor in the room.
